Our Officers: Paradigm Changing People

     The President of WTI, Dr. Christopher Buchanan, is a futurist, visionary, and inventor with a keen interest in human invention and the impact it has on our lives. Civilization and the World we produce with it, arguably our greatest creations, are of particular interest. For the last quarter century he has lived and traveled across the planet to observe and experience these great inventions in their various permutations and has spent many years examining experimental models being tested in so-called intentional communities. This real-world experience has been an invaluable compliment to his formal education in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and South Asian studies. He has worked in academics and government for nearly thirty years performing technology research, development, and analysis in a range of different fields, including energy, environment, transportation, electronics, and business. He is the inventor of the novel transdisciplinary field of World Transformation and the corresponding practical technical field of Applied World Transformation.
